Updated Recruitment Announcement

The testing window for Cadet class 88 has closed. If you are scheduled to test during the week of the 16th of Nov please be sure to arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled test time. The first phase of our testing process will be the Peace Officer Professional Standards Physical Fitness Testing. This test will consist of a bench press, 300 meter run, sit-ups, push-ups and a 1.5 mile run. This test is pass/fail and you must pass it in order to remain in the process. Applicants that pass the physical test will take the written examination the same day. Applicants shall bring with them a form of picture ID, such as an Operators License for check-in. Also, applicants need to report in physical training gear to the Department of Criminal Justice Training Campus at Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond, KY. We request that you park in the lower parking lot below the Thompson Residence Hall where testing will take place. Click here for a map of testing facility.
