KSP Makes Theft Arrest in Madison County

(Berea, KY) - On Monday, December 9, 2013 the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post began an investigation after being contacted by the family of Brooklyn Farthing. The investigation revealed that Randy Gross allegedly solicited approximately $263 from co-workers that he kept for himself. He solicited the funds by deceiving the victims that it would be donated to a fund designed to help with the search for Brooklyn Farthing.
On Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 6:56 p.m. EST, Randy Gross, 36 years old of Mount Vernon was arrested by KSP. He has been charged with Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition and was lodged at the Madison County Detention Center.
The case is currently under investigation by Detective Michael Keeton.
