Suspects Arrested in Multi-County Pursuit

Date of News Release: 01/03/2014

(Campbellsburg, KY) - Two suspects that fled on foot after a pursuit with Troopers on Sunday (12/29/13) have been identified and apprehended. Terrel Watters, a 19 year old from Louisville, KY, was arrested by officers with the Louisville Metro Police Department in the morning hours of New Years day. Also taken into custody was a 16 year old juvenile from Louisville, KY. Both were identified after being arrested for a robbery on the morning of New Years day in Louisville. These subjects, along with a 16 year old juvenile that was arrested immediately following the pursuit, were charged with Receiving Stolen Property over $10,000, Fleeing and Evading 1st degree on foot and motor vehicle, two counts of Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, along with several other traffic violations in relation to the pursuit. The juvenile arrested on 01/01/14 and Terrel Watters are lodged with Louisville Metro Corrections. The juvenile arrested immediately following the pursuit is currently in the custody of his parents.

Evidence from the vehicle used during the pursuit and information on the three suspects has also linked them to multiple robberies in Louisville and Jeffersonville, IN. Those investigations are being handled by agencies in the respective areas.
