News Release

Fatal Collision in Warren County

Date of News Release: 06/19/2014

(Bowling Green, KY) - Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green is currently on scene of a fatal collision on I 65 at the 27.8 northbound in Warren County.

Kentucky State Police was contacted by a motorist stating a white SUV driven by Richard Gott (31) of Bowling Green, KY was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes. The SUV struck a Commercial Vehicle head on shortly after the call. Mr. Gott was pronounced dead at the scene by the Warren County Coroner's Office.

Gary Moody (36) of Decatur, GA the driver of the Commercial Vehicle was taken to the Medical Center in Bowling Green with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing and is being led by Trooper Shea Foley.
