Vehicle Versus Pedestrian Collision on KY 911

Oak Grove, KY (Christian County) - On Monday, May 12, 2014, at 5:19 P.M. the Kentucky State Police investigated a single vehicle injury collision that occurred on KY 911 at Tyler Street.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Officer Clevin Robinson, 28, of the Oak Grove Police Department, was on patrol operating a 2012 Ford Explorer Cruiser on KY 911, when Justin Robertson, 11, of Oak Grove, KY, ran into oncoming traffic, crossed in front of Robinson's vehicle and was struck.
Justin Robertson was transported via Air Evac to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN, for treatment to injuries he sustained in the collision.
Sergeant Derek Smith is continuing the collision investigation. Lieutenant Jason Newby, Sergeant Tim Sales, Trooper Luis Palmer, Oak Grove Police Department, Oak Grove Fire Department, Oak Grove EMS, and Air Evac assisted at the scene.
