Search Warrant Leads To Drug Arrests

Date of News Release: 05/07/2014

Dawson Springs, KY (Hopkins County) - The Kentucky State Police arrested one Hopkins county and two Caldwell county residents for drug-related offenses after executing a search warrant.

On Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at approximately 3 p.m., the Kentucky State Police, along with the assistance of the Dawson Springs Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence on Poplar Street in Dawson Springs. Upon executing the search warrant, three individuals were located inside the residence and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

Detective Carlo Anderson charged the following individuals:

  1. Treston A Fambrough, 19, of Dawson Springs, KY, was arrested and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense.
  2. Jason L Schomer, 29, of Princeton, KY, was arrested and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st offense, Possession Drug Paraphernalia, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child
  3. Jessica L Hanns, 20, of Princeton, KY, was arrested and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st offense

All three individuals were lodged in the Hopkins County Jail. Detective Anderson is continuing the investigation.
