**UPDATE** Single-Vehicle Injury Collision On KY 181

Greenville, KY (Muhlenberg County) - On April 4, 2014, at 5:15 p.m., Michael J. Rogall succumbed to his injuries from the collision at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville, IN.

Single-Vehicle Injury Collision On KY 181

Greenville, KY (Muhlenberg County) - The Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle, injury collision that occurred on KY 181, near the 13 mile-marker, on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at 4:05 p.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Michael J. Rogall, 57, of Elmhurst, IL, was operating a 2007 Freightliner tractor-trailer northbound on KY 181. The tractor-trailer was hauling frozen stir fry.

The tractor-trailer tires dropped off the right side of the roadway, causing it to overturn onto its right side off of the roadway.

Mr. Rogall, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment of his injuries. There were no passengers involved.

Mr. Rogall was charged with DUI 1st Offense and Possession of Open Alcohol Beverage Container in a Motor Vehicle. He has been cited to court due to his injuries.

Trooper Jeff McWhorter investigated the collision. Sergeant Tim Sales, KSP CVE Officer John Sweeney, Greenville Fire Department, Muhlenberg County EMS, and Kentucky State Highway assisted at the scene.
