Traffic Stop leads to Drug Arrest

Oak Grove, KY. (Christian County) – The Kentucky State Police arrested a Clarksville man on drug-related charges.
On Monday, March 10, 2014, at approximately 8:54 p.m., Trooper Ryan Fox conducted a traffic stop for a speeding violation on I-24 at exit 86 off ramp to Fort Campbell Blvd.
Upon speaking with the driver, Brandon Jones, 26 of Clarksville, TN, Trooper Fox detected an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A search of Mr. Jones’ vehicle was performed and 16 baggies of marijuana and items drug paraphernalia were located. Mr. Jones was arrested without incident.
Trooper Fox charged Mr. Jones with the following offenses:
He was lodged in the Christian County Detention Center.
