News Release

Single-Vehicle Injury Collision on I-24

Date of News Release: 03/04/2014

Oak Grove, KY (Christian County) - The Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle, injury collision that occurred on Interstate 24, between the 89 and 90 mile-markers, on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at 4:44 a.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Tracy Harbert, 46, of Nokomis, FL, was operating a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer westbound on Interstate 24 when she lost control of her vehicle due to her speed and the road conditions. The vehicle exited the roadway and traveled into the median where it overturned. It came to rest on its top in the median.

Ms. Harbert was transported via ambulance to Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, TN for treatment. She was wearing a seatbelt. There were no passengers involved.

Trooper Jim McArthur investigated the collision. The Oak Grove Police Department and Oak Grove EMS assisted at the scene.
