White Plains Man Arrested on Charges Related to Sexual Abuse

White Plains, KY (Hopkins County) - The Kentucky State Police arrested a White Plains man on charges related to sexual abuse after conducting an investigation.
On Friday, February 21, 2014, at approximately 2:50 p.m., KSP Detective Lonnie Kavanaugh arrested Gary G. Dillingham, 70 of White Plains, KY, at his residence located on Concord Drive in White Plains. Mr. Dillingham was charged with 5 counts on Rape 3rd Degree and 3 counts of Sodomy 3rd Degree. He was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
An investigation was initiated on Thursday, February 20, 2014, after the Kentucky State Police received information from the Hopkins County Department of Community Based Services that the accused was involved in the sexual abuse of an adult female.
Det. Kavanaugh is continuing the investigation. Lt. Brenton L. Ford, Det. Dan Morck, Det. Lloyd Ray, and Tpr. Bob Winters assisted with the investigation and arrest.
