News Release

Two-Vehicle Injury Collision on KY 85

Date of News Release: 01/18/2014

Madisonville, KY (Hopkins County) - The Kentucky State Police investigated a two-vehicle, injury collision that occurred on KY 85, approximately two miles east of Madisonville, on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at 5:10 p.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Troy W. Inghram, 44 of Sacramento, KY, was operating a 2008 GMC Sierra westbound on KY 85. Michael J. Hale, 43 of Madisonville, KY, was operating a 1995 GMC Sierra eastbound on KY 85. As Mr. Inghram and Mr. Hale passed each other, their vehicles drivers' side struck each other, causing minor damage.

Mr. Hale drove himself to Baptist Health Madisonville for minor injuries. Both Mr. Hale and Mr. Inghram were wearing seatbelts.

Trooper Joe Bartolotti investigated the collision.
