Single-Vehicle Injury Collision on KY 181

Bremen, KY (Muhlenberg County) - The Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle, injury collision that occurred on KY 181, approximately four miles south of Bremen, on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at 8:55 a.m.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Jessie Vincent, 22 of Sacramento, KY, was operating a 2003 Toyota Camry southbound on KY 181 when her tires lost traction on the wet road which caused her to lose control. The vehicle crossed the centerline and exited the left shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle struck a culvert and overturned. It came to rest on its top off the roadway.
Ms. Vincent was transported via ambulance to Baptist Health Madisonville for treatment. She was wearing a seatbelt. There were no passengers involved.
Trooper Jerry Knight investigated the collision. The Bremen Volunteer Fire Department and Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
