Marshall County Burglary Investigation and Arrest

(HICKORY, KY.) - The Mayfield Post of the Kentucky State Police (KSP) received a complaint from the Benton Police Department requesting KSP investigate a burglary at the Marshall County Exceptional Center, a non-profit organization that assists persons with disabilities in the local area. During the course of the investigation, KSP detectives recovered stolen property belonging to the Exceptional Center that was taken during the burglary.

Two males, both 19 years of age, were arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Criminal Mischief 1st Degree. Kentucky State Police arrested Corey L. Warford of Benton, and Cody R. Barbeau of Murray. Both were lodged in the Marshall County Jail. A juvenile suspect has also been questioned, but has not been charged at this time. The investigation is continuing by KSP Detectives Brett Miller, Trevor Pervine, and John Sims.
