Henderson County Man Charged for Impersonating a Police Officer

Henderson, KY - On Friday, February 7, 2014, the Kentucky State Police and Henderson County Sheriff's Office charged 62 year-old Thomas E. Davis of Henderson with (1) one count of Impersonating a Police Officer, which is a class D felony.
The investigation was initiated by the Kentucky State Police when Robert Frederick and Neil Hall reported unlawful conduct of Davis. It is alleged that on September 2, 2013, Davis confronted Frederick and Hall at Rally's Restaurant on U.S. 41 in Henderson. During the brief contact, Frederick and Hall stated Davis made them believe he was a police officer and requested their identifications.
The investigation was presented to the Henderson County Grand Jury on February 4, 2014, which issued the indictment summons. Davis is scheduled to make a court appearance on February 11, 2014 in Henderson Circuit.
