News Release

Felony Arrest in Ohio County

Date of News Release: 01/26/2014

(Henderson, KY) - Trooper Begley stopped a vehicle for expired registration plates. Upon further investigation, the decal on the registration plate showed the vehicle to be valid and current but showed belonging to a different vehicle that was owned by Perdue Incorporated in Beaver Dam. The passenger, Victor M. Booth Jr. admitted to stealing the decal sticker from his place of work, at Perdue, and had placed it on his personal vehicle. Mr. Booth was arrested and taken to Ohio County Detention Center. He was charged with Theft of Vehicle Registration Plate/Renewal Decal, which is a Class D Felony.
