News Release

Pursuit and Arrest in Henderson County

Date of News Release: 01/08/201

(Henderson, KY) - On January 8, 2014 Tpr Aaron Pryor observed a passenger car black in color traveling westbound on the Audubon Parkway at the 2mm driving at speeds in excess of 101 mph. Tpr Pryor activated his emergency lights and sirens in an attempt to stop the vehicle. The vehicle continued to drive westbound until he exited the Audubon Parkway onto the Pennyrile Parkway. Tpr Pryor was able to catch up to the vehicle where it stopped northbound on the Pennyrile Parkway. Tpr Pryor took the driver Daniel E. Sexton into custody without further incident. Daniel E. Sexton was arrested and transported to the Henderson County Detention Center on the charges of Fleeing or Evading police 1st degree, Speeding more than 26 mph over the limit, Reckless Driving.
