News Release

Albany Man Killed in a Collision on KY 558 in Clinton County

Date of News Release: 02/14/2014

(Albany, KY) - Tpr. Brian Gibson is investigating a collision that occurred today (02/14/2014) at 9:05 PM CST, 8 miles east of Albany on KY 558. 60-year-old James M. Cooksey, of Albany, was traveling west on KY 558, operating a 2003 Ford F150 when he ran off of the roadway and struck a tree. Cooksey was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Clinton County Sheriff's Department, EMS, Coroner and Fire Department assisted. The collision remains under investigation.
