Robbery - First National Bank in Willard, KY
Date of News Release: 04/27/2014
(Ashland, KY) – The Kentucky State Police Post 14 Ashland is investigating a robbery of the First National Bank located at 8752 South State Highway 1 Willard, KY. At approximately 1258 pm on Monday April 28, 2014 an unidentified male, armed with a firearm, entered the bank and demanded cash from a teller. The male exited the bank and fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
At this time no additional descriptors are available. Neither photographs nor video are currently available for release.

The following agencies responded and assisted during the course of the investigation: Kentucky State Police K-9, Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife and Carter County Sheriff's Department.
The case remains under investigation by Detective David Boarman.
