News Release

Kentucky State Police Investigate Aircraft Accident in Spencer County

Date of News Release: 08/23/2014

(Spencer/Shelby) - Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort is investigating a single aircraft accident at a Spencer and Shelby County private airport. On Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 09:58 p.m., Kentucky State Police was notified by a witness that a small plane had went down near his residence while attempting to land. Neither passenger was injured. The aircraft did not strike any other objects. The FAA will be conducting additional investigations.
