(LONDON, KY.) - On Friday, August 30, 2013 at approximately 10:37 PM the Kentucky State Police, Post 11 London, received a report of a structure fire on Water Plant RD in the Stearns community of McCreary County.

Upon arrival, KSP Post 11 Arson Investigator Detective Brian Lewis determined that Whitley City fire fighter Arlie "Pooh" Hill III, 37, of Stearns was severely injured in the fire after going into the burning residence to see if anyone was inside.
