Injury Motorcycle Collision on KY 1274

Date of News Release: 09/03/2013

(Morehead, KY) -- On September 3, 2013, KSP Post 8 Morehead was dispatched to a single vehicle injury collision on KY 1274 in Morehead, KY. Upon arrival, Trooper Brent Sparks and Trooper Mary Drilling located Glyn Rogers Jr. of Clay City, KY and Judith B. Rogers of Richmond, KY injured as result of a motorcycle accident. At the time of the collision, Mr. Rogers was traveling North on KY 1274 when he failed to negotiate a curve and lost control of the motorcycle. As a result, Mr. Rogers was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center by air ambulance and Mrs. Rogers was transported by ambulance to St. Claire Medical Center for treatment. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Brent Sparks.
