Morgan County Woman Arrested for Criminal Abuse 1st Degree

Date of News Release: 05/31/2013

(Morehead, KY) -- On Friday, May 24th 2013 at 5:49 PM Kentucky State Police in Morehead was notified by Morgan County ARH that Geneva Kimbler, 74 of Morgan County arrived at the hospital with significant signs of neglect. Troopers Grant Faulkner and Tony Russell responded to the hospital. Adult Protective Service employee found Ms. Kimbler at 587 Kimbler Road in Morgan County at her residence in poor medical health and immediatley called for Emergency Medical Services. Ms. Kimbler's daughter Rhonda Hartman 45 of Morgan County had custody of Geneva Kimbler and was her caretaker. Detective Donnie McGraw is investigating the case and obtained an arrest warrant for Rhonda Hartman for Criminal Abuse 1st Degree. On Friday, May 31st, 2013 Trooper Royce Collett located and arrested Rhonda Hartman for Criminal Abuse 1st Degree. The case remains under investigation by Detective Donnie McGraw.
