Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, Activity for October 2013

(Richmond, KY.) -- Captain Lisa Rudzinski, Post Commander of the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is reporting the following activity for the month of October, 2013.
Troopers and Detectives issued a total of 1,765 citations of which 285 were for speeding, 6 for no child restraint and 277 for no seatbelts. There were a total of 20 individuals arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Troopers issued 456 courtesy notices, and assisted 58 stranded motorists, while inspecting 1,845 vehicles.
Richmond Post investigated 55 traffic collisions in the month of October.
Detectives and Troopers investigated 961 complaints, opened 77 criminal cases, and made 178 criminal arrests.
