Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, Activity for September 2013

(Richmond, KY.) -- Captain Lisa Rudzinski, Post Commander of the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is reporting the following activity for the month of September, 2013.
Troopers and Detectives issued a total of 1,790 citations of which 238 were for speeding, 12 for no child restraint and 250 for no seatbelts. There was a total of 29 individuals arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Troopers issued 588 courtesy notices, and assisted 61 stranded motorists, while inspecting 2,247 vehicles.
Richmond Post investigated 48 traffic collisions in the month of September.
Detectives and Troopers investigated 1,028 complaints, opened 71 criminal cases, and made 291 criminal arrests.
