News Release

KSP Conducts Attempted Murder Investigation in Lincoln County

(Stanford, KY)-- On Monday August 12, 2013 at 5:14 pm EST Tammie Wolfinbarger was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder.

The Kentucky State Police is currently investigating an Attempted Murder allegation in Lincoln County. On August 10, 2013 Tammie Wolfinbarger attempted to smother her two month old child by placing a pillow over the baby's face. Kentucky State Police Detective Rodney Wren and Lincoln County Department of Social Services conducted an investigation following an anonymous tip, resulting in the arrest of Tammie Wolfinbarger.

The child is safe and has been placed with family members.
