Kentucky State Police Investigates Suspicious Fires in Jackson County

(McKee, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is currently investigating two suspicious fires reported in Jackson County.
On Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 2:08 am EDT on Hurst School Road in the Clover Bottom community. Several buildings including a house and barn suffered severe damage. None of the structures were occupied at the time of the fires.
On Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 4:17 am EDT on KY 421 4 miles north of McKee a single wide trailer sustained minor damage. The trailer was occupied at the time of the fire.
Kentucky State Police Arson Investigator Pat Alford is the investigating officer and requests anyone with information concerning these fires contact KSP at (859) 623-2404 or toll free at (800) 27-ARSON. There is up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
