KSP Richmond Monthly Activity for February 2013

(Richmond, KY.) -- Captain Lisa Rudzinski, Post Commander of the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is reporting the following activity for the month of February, 2013.
Troopers and Detectives issued a total of 2585 citations of which 519 were for speeding and 14 for no child restraint. Troopers issued 302 citations for no seatbelts. 55 individuals were arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Troopers issued 542 courtesy notices, and assisted 76 stranded motorists, while inspecting 2325 vehicles.
Richmond Post investigated 40 traffic collisions in the month of February.
Detectives and Troopers investigated 942 complaints, opened 57 criminal cases, and made 418 criminal arrests.
