News Release

KSP Post 5 Welcomes New Post Commander, Two New Sergeants

Date of News Release: 11/22/2013

(Campbellsburg, KY) - KSP Post 5 welcomed Captain Fred Williams as the new Post Commander on Saturday, November 16. Captain Williams, a native of Lawrenceburg, KY, is a 16 year veteran of the State Police and most recently served as the Commander of the Driver Testing Branch in Frankfort. Captain Williams has also previously served as a Sergeant and Lieutenant at Post 5.

Post 5 also recently welcomed two new Sergeants. Sergeant Chad Taylor, a native of Elizabethtown, KY, is a 10 year veteran of the State Police and has previously served at the Elizabethtown and Bowling Green posts.

Sergeant Scotty Sandlin, a native of Hazard, KY, is a 14 year State Police veteran and has previously served at the Hazard post.
