Two Killed in Henry County Crash

Date of News Release: 03/11/2013

(Pendleton, KY) -- Two people have been killed in a single vehicle crash in Henry County. Kentucky State Police dispatchers received a call of the crash at 9:35 last night (3/10). Preliminary investigation shows that the vehicle, driven by 35 year old Jeremy Talbott of Eminence, KY, was traveling east on Highway 146 when the vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a tree. Both Talbott and a passenger in the vehicle, 32 year old Amy Perkins of Sanders, KY, were pronounced dead at the scene by the Henry County Coroner. Neither person in the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt. Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the crash.

Trooper Zack Morris is leading the ongoing investigation. Trooper Morris was assisted at the scene by Henry County EMS, and the Lake Jericho Fire Department.
