Two of the Three Suspects Arrested in Owen County Bank Robbery

(Campbellsburg, KY) -- Two of the suspects in the New Liberty bank robbery have been arrested. Aaron Jones and Wilma Renee Jones were both arrested Saturday in Ft. Mitchell, KY by officers with the Ft. Mitchell Police Department. Both were lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center. Todd McIntyre is still wanted in connection with the robbery.

(Campbellsburg, KY) -- Detectives with Kentucky State Police Post 5 have identified three suspects in the bank robbery that occurred in New Liberty, KY on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Aaron L. Jones, 23 years old from Ft. Mitchell, KY, Todd McIntyre, 42 years old from Ghent, KY, and Wilma Renee Jones, 32 years old from Carrollton, KY, are wanted in connection with the robbery.

Aaron Jones is 6 feet tall, approximately 130 lbs., with brown eyes and hair.

Todd McIntyre is 5'8, approximately 160 lbs., with brown eyes and hair.

Wilma Renee Jones is 5'4, approximately 125 lbs., with brown eyes and blond hair.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the three suspects is asked to call the Kentucky State Police at 502-532-6363.

Bank Robbed in Owen County

Date of News Release: 02/23/2013

(New Liberty, KY) -- Detectives from Kentucky State Police Post 5 are investigating a bank robbery that happened this morning (02/23/2013) at the First Farmers Bank and Trust in New Liberty, KY. Dispatchers at Post 5 received a call of an alarm coming from the bank at 11:46 a.m. Video from bank cameras shows the perpetrator entering the bank and going to a teller window. The subject then told the tellers to give him all their money. After getting the money, the perpetrator fled the bank in and unknown direction. The subject did not produce a weapon during the robbery.

Tellers described the perpetrator as a white male who appeared to be in his early twenties, approximately 5'8" and 140 lbs. He was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt and dark pants at the time of the robbery.

Detective Steve Goodale is leading the ongoing investigation. Detective Goodale was assisted by the Owen County Sheriff's Department and the Owenton Police Department. Anyone with information on the perpetrator can contact KSP Post 5 at 502-532-6363.
