Post 5 Citizen's Police Academy Taking Applications

Date of News Release: 01/03/2013

(Campbellsburg, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police will be hosting its Fifth Annual Citizens' Police Academy beginning February 4, 2013. The Citizens' Police Academy is a public outreach program that enables participants to gain a better understanding of police operations conducted by State Troopers. The program consists of 12 classes held weekly covering a wide variety of KSP operations. The program will produce informed citizens regarding the actual role of KSP. Classes will be held Mondays at 7:00 p.m. at Post 5 which is located on Citation Lane in Campbellsburg.
