News Release

Two Injured In Larue Collision

Date of News Release: 09/26/2013

(SONORA, KY.) - On Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 8:20 AM EST, Kentucky State Police Post 4 received a call in regards to an injury accident in the 6000 block of Ky. 84 in Larue County. Mose Yoder (51) and Emma Yoder (50) of Sonora, were operating a horsedrawn buggy Eastbound on Ky. 84. Lisa Marie Johnson (42) of Bonnieville, Ky. was operating a 2006 Chevy Express Van Eastbound on Ky. 84. While attempting to pass, the Chevrolet van struck the rear of the buggy causing significant damage and rendering the buggy inoperable. Mr. and Mrs. Yoder were transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. KSP Post 4 Trooper Scott Rafferty was assisted at the scene by Larue County EMS and the Sonora Volunteer Fire Department. The accident is still under investigation.
