Single Vehicle Injury Collision in Warren County

(Bowling Green, KY) -- On Thursday July 4, 2013 at approximately 8:22 pm, Kentucky State Police responded to an injury accident on the I-65 south off ramp to the William H. Natcher Parkway at mile marker 20 in Warren County. Trooper Graham Rutherford's preliminary investigation indicates that Teresa A. Watson (28) of Russellville, KY was operating a 1995 Chevrolet south on I65 in Warren County, KY.
As Mrs. Watson was merging onto the William H. Natcher Parkway north on ramp, Mrs. Watson lost control of her vehicle and veered left into a guard rail face. After striking the guard rail Mrs. Watson's vehicle came to rest in the emergency lane on the ramp.
A passenger in the vehicle, Darrell D. Lyles (34) of Bowling Green, KY was transported by ambulance to the Bowling Green Medical Center where he was admitted for non-life threatening injuries.
Trooper Rutherford was assisted on scene by Trooper Joe Gregory, Officer Chris Duke, Officer Joseph Overton, Medcom EMS, and the Alvaton Fire Department.
The collision is being investigated by Trooper Graham Rutherford.
