News Release

Eight Arrested on Meth Charges in Hart County

Date of News Release: 05/06/2013

(Bowling Green, KY) -- On May 2, 2013, the Kentucky State Police Post in Bowling Green received a drug tip from the Barren County Sheriff's Office in reference to multiple suspected methamphetamine labs at a residence in Hart County. Units were also advised that William Milby, a wanted fugitive, was also at that location. After receiving the information, KSP Troopers responded to 992 Little Blue Springs Church Road to attempt to make contact with the residents. Upon arrival, contact was made with a resident of the property, Brandi Milby. After a brief conversation with Ms. Milby, her husband, William Milby, entered the living room and advised Troopers he had a warrant and wished to be arrested. KSP Troopers advised the Milby's of the initial complaint in which both consented to a search of the property. The search of the property yielded two suspected one-step methamphetamine labs, several precursors used to manufacture methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and several firearms. KSP Troopers apprehended eight individuals in connection with the items located inside the residence, with one being a juvenile, for a total of 147 charges. This case is being investigated by Trooper Jeremy Smith, and he was assisted by Trooper Daniel White, Trooper Justin Rountree, KSP DESI West, and Horse Cave Police Officer Bruce Neville.

Below are the eight individuals whom were arrested:

William T. Milby (38), Horse Cave, Brandi R. Milby (40), Horse Cave, Zachary T. Milby (19), Horse Cave, Brandy N. Thomas (27), Cave City, Jimmy L. Jones (40), Cave City, Jeremy D. Bush (34), Cave City, Sierra D. Jessie (22), Glasgow, & Juvenile (17), Cave City.

Each was charged with:

Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense (2 Counts), Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense (2 Counts)(Enhancement), Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense (2 Counts)(Complicity), Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor 1st Offense, Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor 1st Offense (Enhancement), Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor 1st Offense (Complicity), Tampering with Physical Evidence, Tampering with Physical Evidence (Enhancement), Tampering with Physical Evidence (Complicity), Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana (Enhancement), Possession of Marijuana (Complicity), Drug Paraphernalia-Possess, Drug Paraphernalia-Possess (Enhancement), & Drug Paraphernalia-Possess (Complicity).
