KSP Post 3 Bowling Green Collects 280 Pounds of Prescription Drugs During Sixth National "Take Back" Initiative

(Bowling Green, KY) -- On Saturday, April 27, 2013, the Kentucky State Police, Post 3 Bowling Green, participated in the sixth National "Take Back" Initiative. Post 3 netted 280 pounds of prescription and over the counter drugs from those who wished to discard unwanted medications.
Kentucky State Police was one of four agencies in the Warren County area that participated in the initiative. Bowling Green Police Department, Warren County Sheriff's Department and Warren County Drug Task Force all participated in the event.
"This initiative once again was a success, however for anyone that missed us on Saturday you can still drop off your medications at the disposal box located at the KSP Post.", commented Trooper Jonathan Biven, KSP Post 3 Public Affairs Officer.
Kentucky State Police Post 3 area includes, Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Simpson, and Warren counties.
