Indoor Marijuana Grow Yields 63 Plants in Hart County

(Bowling Green, KY) -- On Thursday, March 28, 2013, Kentucky State Police Post 3 Troopers acted on an anonymous drug tip in Hart County at a residence located at 300 Priceville Road in Bonnieville, Kentucky.
After a search of the residence, a two room indoor marijuana grow with 63 marijuana plants in various stages of development.was located An additional 1 lb 7.7 ounces of processed marijuana was located in the residence and garage. Several items of indoor growing equipment, chemicals, drug paraphernalia, etc. were seized.
Adam D. Cook (39) of Bonnieville was arrested and charged with Cultivating in Marijuana (5 plants or more)-1st offense, Trafficking in Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. All of these charges were enhanced due to the possession of a handgun.
Mr. Cook was lodged in the Hart County Jail. This case is being investigated by Tpr. Daniel White, and he was assisted on the scene by Tpr. Jeremy Smith, Tpr. Justin Rountree, and Tpr. B.J.Eaton.
