Franklin Woman Injured in a Collision on I-65

(Bowling Green, KY) -- On Monday, January 14, 2013, at approximately 4:38 pm, Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green Trooper Gregory Dukes, responded to an injury collision on Interstate 65 at the 14 mile marker southbound in Warren County KY.
Michaela Coyle (20) of Franklin ,KY was operating a 2011 Nissan southbound on Interstate 65 near the 14 mile marker when she lost control of her vehicle due to the roads being slick from falling frozen perception. Ms. Coyle's vehicle started to rotate in the roadway crossing over into the path of a 2005 Western Star tractor trailer being operated by, Rick Hall (54) of Warsaw, OH, which was also traveling southbound on Interstate 65.
After Ms. Coyle's vehicle collided with Mr. Hall's vehicle her vehicle was knocked back across the interstate coming to a final rest against the concrete barrier wall. Ms. Coyle was transported to the Medical Center Hospital in Bowling Green, KY where she was treated and released for her injuries.
Mr. Hall was not injured in the collision.
Trooper Dukes was assisted at the scene by the Medical Center Ambulance service.
The collision is being investigated by Trooper Gregory Dukes.
