Russellville Woman Injured in a Collision on KY 100 West

(Bowling Green, KY) -- On Thursday, January 10, 2013, at approximately 1019 am, Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green Trooper Gregory Dukes, responded to an injury accident on KY 100 west, (Russellville Road) in Simpson County KY.
Baby B. Chestnut (18) of Russellville,KY was operating a 2002 Hyundai westbound on KY 100, near the five mile marker.
Ms. Chestnut stated, "she was negotiating a curve when she lost control of her vehicle." Ms. Chestnut´s vehicle then crossed the westbound lanes of traffic striking an earth embankment, overturning and coming to final rest in a field.
Ms. Chestnut was transported to the Medical Center in Franklin, KY where she was treated and released.
The collision is being investigated by Trooper Gregory Dukes.
