News Release

Death Investigation in Graham, KY

Date of News Release: 10/15/2013

Graham, KY (Muhlenberg County) - The Kentucky State Police is investigating the deaths of two subjects at a residence on KY 175 in Graham. KSP was contacted by the Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at approximately 1:25 p.m. and requested to conduct a welfare check at the residence.

Upon Troopers arrival, a male and a female were located in the residence deceased. At this time, it appears both subjects had been shot.

The Muhlenberg County Coroner's Office pronounced both subjects dead at the scene. Further information, including the names of the deceased, will be provided pending the autopsy results. The autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, October, 16, at the State Medical Examiner's Office in Madisonville, KY.

Detective Lonnie Kavanaugh is continuing the investigation. KSP Post 2 units and the Muhlenberg County Coroner's Office assisted at the scene.
