Hands Across the Border

(Christian County, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police will be partnering with Christian County and Tennessee authorities for traffic safety checkpoints and saturation patrols on June 28 and June 29, 2013 in Christian County, Kentucky and Montgomery County, Tennessee.
The locations of the checkpoints will be on US 41A near the Kentucky-Tennessee state line. Saturation patrols will be conducted on KY State Routes 115, 400, and 911 and TN State Routes 236 and 374.
Troopers, deputies, and officers will be targeting those drivers who operate a vehicle while impaired and take corrective actions for other violations observed while ensuring the protection of all motorists.
There will be a press event on June 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Piggley Wiggley located at 3441 Fort Campbell Blvd. Clarksville, TN.
Participating agencies include the Kentucky State Police, Christian County Sheriff’s Department, Oak Grove Police Department, Hopkinsville Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department, and the Clarksville Police Department.
