News Release

Todd County Aircraft Accident

Date of News Release: 06/04/2013

(Madisonville, KY.) -- On Tuesday, June 04, 2013 at approximately 1707 hrs, the Kentucky State Police Post 2 was notified by the Todd County Sheriff of an aircraft that had crashed in the area of 850 Davis Mill Road, Elkton KY. The aircraft, a 1946 Stinson model 108, was being piloted by Tyler Gill of Allensville, KY. Jerry Humble of Russellville, KY was a passenger in the aircraft. The aircraft took off from the Elkton Airport and crashed in a field near the above address. Mr. Gill was transported to Gateway Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries. The Federal Aviation Administration will be continuing the investigation.
