Paducah man arrested on Assault 1st charge by KSP

Date of News Release: 07/24/2013

(Paducah, Ky.) -- On Wednesday July 24, 2013 at approximately 3 AM, the Kentucky State Police received a call about an infant with serious physical injuries. Senior Trooper Brad Ramsey responded to Baptist Health and began an investigation. The infant was flown from Baptist Health to Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, KY due to the seriousness of the injuries.

Senior Trooper Ramsey arrested Travis McKinzie, 27 of Paducah, KY. McKinzie was charged with Assault 1st degree, domestic violence (class B felony). McKinzie was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail. The investigation continues by Senior Trooper Brad Ramsey.
