News Release

Two People from Utica Arrested on Meth Charges

Date of News Release: 09/15/2013

(Henderson, Ky.) -- On Saturday, September 14th at approx 1130 PM, troopers from the Kentucky State Police responded to Highway 1207 in Utica regarding a tip received about a possible meth lab at this location. Upon arrival, troopers made contact with James S. Goode and Kristin Goode of Utica. Both subjects then consented to a search of the residence. After searching, troopers located numerous items both in and around the residence which were indicative of the manufacturing of methamphetamine. James and Kristin Goode were arrested without incident and transported to Daviess County Detention Center. Both subjects were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The investigation is currently being led by Trooper Levi Scott of the Kentucky State Police.
