KSP Charges Daviess County Man with Internet Related Crimes

(Owensboro, KY) – A Daviess County man was arrested on charges related to child pornography Wednesday after the Kentucky State Police served a search warrant at his Owensboro home.
Cliff J. Carlock, 39, is charged with 20 counts of Possession of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor, which is a class D felony. Carlock was arrested without incident at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon by the Kentucky State Police. He was charged and taken to the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro on a $100,000 cash bond.
Carlock was arrested by the Kentucky State Police ICAC Task Force as a result of an undercover investigation into the possession of images of child sexual exploitation. The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Mr. Carlock's residence in Owensboro by the Kentucky State Police ICAC Task Force and Post 16 troopers. Detectives seized evidence that was being used to possess child pornography and it was taken to the Kentucky State Police forensic laboratory for examination.
