Charges Filed in the Fatal Collision on KY 2713 in Ohio County

(Henderson, KY) -- Kentucky State Police Detective Chris Baker charged 45-year-old Kevin Frame in connection with the October fatal collision. Detective Baker served multiple indictment warrants on Mr. Frame today that were carried down from the Ohio County Grand Jury. Mr. Frame was arrested and charged with:

Fatal Collision on KY 2713 in Ohio County

Date of News Release: 10/22/2012

(Henderson, KY) -- On Sunday, October 21, 2012, the Kentucky State Police responded to a two vehicle accident with injuries on Kentucky 2713 in Ohio County. Upon investigation of the accident it was determined that Kevin Frame was operating a 1994 Ford truck southbound on Kentucky 2713 when he crossed the center line and struck a 1999 Plymouth van operated by Michael Kassinger. After striking the van Mr. Frame's vehicle rolled over at which time he was ejected from his vehicle. Mr. Frame was life flighted to the University Of Louisville Hospital where his injuries are unknown at this time. Michael Kassinger was pronounced dead by the Ohio Deputy coroner at the scene. Passengers in the van were Jessica Kassinger who was transported to Owensboro medical health System where she is being treated for her injuries. Savannah Kassinger was transported to Kosair's Children's Hospital in Louisville by helicopter for her injuries and Sierra Kassinger was transported by helicopter to St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville Indiana for her injuries. At this time the conditions of the passengers are unknown. The accident is still under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
