News Release

Assault Investigation in Russell County

Date of News Release: 08/08/2013

(Russell Springs, KY) -- On August 8, 2013, Kentucky State Police Post 15 Columbia received a call in reference to a male subject with multiple stabs wounds that had been taken by private vehicle to the Russell County Hospital. Investigation revealed the victim, Travis L. Passmore, age 18, of Dunnville, suffered multiple stab wounds during an altercation on Decatur Spur Road, six miles north of Russell Springs. He is currently listed in critical condition at University of Kentucky Medical Center. No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is continuing by Detective Jamie Richard.
