News Release

Cumberland County Injury Collision

Date of News Release: 06/13/2013

(Burkesville, KY.) -- Tpr. Brian Gibson is investigating a collision that occurred today approximately 12:37 PM CST, 6 miles west of Burkesville on Glasgow Road. 78-year-old Preston Graves of Marrowbone was traveling west operating a 1995 Toyota Camry. The Camry struck a trailer being pulled by a 2001 Ford F250 that was making a right turn into a private drive. The Ford was operated by a 26-year-old Steven Wheat of Burkesville.

Graves and a passenger, 70-year-old Linda Graves were both transported to Cumberland County Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries. Wheat and his passengers, 23-year-old Ethan Cash of Burkesville 46-year-old Jerry Pennycuff of Burkesville were not injured. No passengers in either vehicle were belted at the time of the collision.
