Scott County Drug Investigation

(Georgetown, KY) -- Kentucky State Police Post 12, Frankfort, conducted a drug investigation in the Scott County area leading to the arrest of one subject and the seizure of heroin, drug paraphernalia and a small amount of US currency.
On Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at approximately 0400 AM, following an ongoing investigation, Kentucky State Police Detectives, executed a search warrant at Unit 188 at the Georgetown Knights Inn Hotel, 3075 Paris Pike, Georgetown, KY.
Upon execution of the warrant, Detectives seized approximately 4 grams of heroin, with a street value of $1000, approximately $360 cash and drug paraphernalia.
Justin C Wills, age 27, of Cynthiana, was arrested at the scene and charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense Over 4 Grams of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Wills was lodged in the Scott County Detention Center pending arraignment.
The Kentucky State Police was assisted in the investigation by the Georgetown Police Department.
