Spencer County Grand Jury Returns an Indictment on KSP Rape Investigation

(Taylorsville, KY.) -- On Friday, May 9, 2013 the Spencer County Grand Jury returns an indictment on a Post 12 Kentucky State Police investigation. The indictment charges Robert Michael Howard, age 43, of Taylorsville, KY., with one count of Rape 1st, one count of Sexual Abuse 1st, (victim under twelve) and six counts of Sexual Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by a Minor.
The investigation started when the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services in Spencer County received a complaint of possible sexual abuse. The initial complaint was sent to KSP Elizabethtown Post 4 because the victim had moved into the Post 4 area. The KSP Frankfort Post 12 was notified of the complaint and began it's investigation in January 2012.
The investigation is being investigation by the KSP Frankfort Post 12 and the Spencer County Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
