Drug Arrest in Whitley County

(LONDON, KY.) -- On Tuesday, July 02, 2013 Troopers from the Kentucky State Police, Post 11 London, along with Officers from the Williamsburg Police Department and the ATF met in a parking lot of a church on Young Creek Cemetery Road to plan an investigation into illegal drug actively at a residence in the Canada Town Community of Whitley County.
Upon arrival officers observed a black, Chevrolet, Trailblazer with a single male occupant behind the church. Officers contacted the person as to why he was at the church. Upon further investigation officers discovered a substance suspected to be Methamphetamine and items used in the manufacturing of Methamphetamine.
Trooper Tony Dingess arrested Harrison B. Sulfridge, 33, of Williamsburg on the charges of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine) and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
Trooper Dingess is continuing the investigation and he was assisted by Williamsburg Police Department Chief Wayne Bird and Detective Bobby Freeman.
